The 27th edition of the Soweto Marathon will see 40,000 runners take part in what is the biggest one day running event in South Africa.
The race comprises a standard 42km marathon, a half marathon (21km) and a 10km road race and is growing year on year. This year, entries will be capped at 40 000.
